Year 12 Excel in C3L6 Competition
Fifty‑nine of our Year 12 Chemists took part in the C3L6 competition in June, joining a field of 15,401 students nationwide. The aims of this competition is to stretch and challenge the most able students interested in chemistry, and the competition will provide an excellent experience for anyone considering taking their studies further. Set by an experienced team of teachers and university chemists, it is designed to be accessible to Year 12 students but will take them significantly beyond the syllabus and encourage them to think about science in the way they would at university.
Our students have once again impressed us with their abilities, achieving excellent results and demonstrating remarkable dedication. Their success in such a rigorous competition highlights not only their academic strength but also their curiosity, resilience, and willingness to push themselves further than required. It stands as a truly outstanding achievement and a testament to their hard work and passion for learning.
