House Drama 2026

Congratulations to all five Houses for three brilliantly entertaining final public performances to lively, responsive audiences. The theme for this year's House Drama was Catalyst. This was interpreted in many different ways by our superbly original and creative House teams. 

Introducing House Drama, Head of Drama Mrs Grace Salmon says,

"The most exciting thing about House Drama is the inclusivity of this celebration of the Arts. Students of all ages work as a team to write, direct, sing, dance, act, design, and provide lighting and sound for productions that are truly their own. I have been sincerely impressed by the passion and creativity that the students exuded over the last few weeks of the Summer Term. The resilience and ingenuity of the Sixth Form students as they strive for excellence has been outstanding to watch. They have led with care and enthusiasm, continuously looking for ways to make their House stand above the rest. All students involved have worked tirelessly, and I am in awe of their talent and drive.

It has been particularly special to witness the extraordinary commitment, creativity, and camaraderie that make this event such a treasured part of school life. Over the years, House Drama has consistently showcased the very best of our students, and this year's production process has been no exception. It has been a privilege to see students of all ages working together with such enthusiasm, talent, and determination.  Many thanks are owed to all staff who have supported this year's venture, as well as our trusty Tech Team for their commitment to supporting our events - we are, yet again, so very grateful.

Congratulations to Winners of House Drama 2026: Richmond House

Richmond Officials say,
"This was more than a victory, it's history!  After nearly more than half a decade without winning House Drama, Richmond has finally brought the trophy home. Not only that, but we were also honoured with the Music Award, a testament to the incredible talent of our House.

This achievement wasn't because of one person; it was the result of every actor, musician, composer, writer, technician, backstage crew member, artist and supporter working together towards the same goal. Every rehearsal, every planning session and every challenge we faced only made us stronger as a team and as a House. We couldn't be prouder of everyone who gave their time, energy and heart into this production. This achievement is a reminder that success comes from believing in one another, supporting each other through every challenge, and never giving up. Together, we've shown what Richmond is truly capable of, and we hope this is the beginning of many more successes!"
