English School Cross Country Cup

Well done to our runners who took part in the Gloucestershire round of the English Schools XC Cup, hosted at Churchdown School. Our thank you to our hosts for holding this event. 

The top two teams qualified from each race. It is different to the individual event because your first four finishers score. The two teams with the lowest total of finishing places go through. Our Intermediate Girls' team came second. Our Senior Boys' team won their race as did our Senior Girls' team with the best score of the whole event. These three teams have all qualified to go through to regionals in Bromsgrove this November.

Our Junior Girls and Boys both finished as the third team so were agonisingly close to qualifying too. 

Mr Balmer and Mr Johnson were extremely impressed with all our runners. This event is extra special because of the team aspect and our students did themselves proud with their support for each other.  We can't wait to see how you get on in November!
