The post will be fully integrated within the Front Office Team that also includes our Reception area with specific responsibility for running the repro function throughout the school. We have a Reprographics room situated in the front office area and then a number of machines throughout the school. Students and staff have access to the machines around the school, accessed via biometric scanners, but the machines in the Reprographics Room are only accessible to staff, and are controlled and overseen by the Reprographics Co-ordinator. The job will involve:
- managing all aspects of reprographic requests from staff eg copying, binding, laminating, distribution
- manage workload and planning to be available for extra hours as workload demands
- maintaining supplies of consumable items for all machines
- liaising with engineers
- liaising with staff and students
- providing cover at Reception on an ad hoc basis.
The post will require someone with strong communication skills as well as the ability to:
- prioritise workload especially during busy periods
- have a flexible approach to your work and to adapt at short notice
- be a competent IT user eg Outlook, Word, Excel.
As part of the Front Office Team you would be need to be willing to become involved in other front office support, eg, sorting and distributing post, managing lost property and have a willingness to be First Aid trained. In addition, there will need to be a degree of flexibility during busy periods – these are likely to be at the start of each term and in the lead up to school exams but may also occur at other times. Overtime will be paid for additional hours worked.

The deadline for applications is midday on Monday 6th December and interviews will take place during the end of that week.
