Remote Access

To use Remote Access at home you will first need to make sure you have downloaded the latest version of Citrix Receiver. To do this, please click here

Once downloaded, you will need to come back to this page and click on the link below;

https://remote.patesgs.org/

From here, you can enter your school username and password and you should get the same desktop at home as you have in school.

 


 

If you find for any reason that the connection does not work, then there are a few different things that could be causing the error.

  • There are known issues with installing the plugin and some anti-virus software.  It is recommended that you disable your antivirus when installing the citrix receiver client and during first connection.  If you have not done this, remove the citrix client and reinstall with your anti-virus disabled.
  • If you are having connection issues on a PC that you have successfully connected previously, then you may wish to update your Citrix Receiver software. Simply uninstall the software and click on the link above and install the latest version.
